Tubular Balance Table Lamp

Designed by Sebastian Hepting, Ingo Maurer and Team in 2020, Tubular Balance is a multifunctional glass luminaire. Lighting designer Sebastian Hepting uses an unprocessed tube of borosilicate glass. The glass tube can be rotated through 360° and can be used as downlight, uplight or wallwasher. The open, fire-polished ends emphasize the puristic design and their handcrafted character. 

While the suspension of the tube consists of an almost invisible thin wire, the other end is softly embedded in a textile loop in either white or red (electicians can rewire it with another colour if need be), the power cable falls onto the table where it is looped around a simple steel counterweight and then plugs into a standard wall outlet.

Inside, a filigree-looking construction of lamellas reflect the light in all directions, in either red or white. The light source is invisibly hidden behind the luminous structure. Thanks to its versatility, the pendant lamp "Tubular" is suitable for various purposes and rooms - whether as table lighting at home, in restaurants, above a bar, in the kitchen, at the reception or in the office.

A hanging version of this lamp is also available and connects to a ceiling electrical box and is labelled as "tubular"
