Stromboli Kugelascher ashtray by Fritz Danner for WMF Germany. Made of a thick melamine with two metal flaps that open as ash is accumulated. The german word "Kugelascher" refers specifically to a spherical ashtray that has a mechanism to contain ash, away from the cigarette.
