Designed by Ingo Maurer in 1989, One From the Heart was originally developed as a wedding gift for friends. One blue and one red cable entwine with one another beneath the red heart. The light source is placed inside the large red heart and reflects it off the smaller heart-shaped mirror. Two plastic crocodiles representing the newly-married are fixed under one of the feet of the lamp.
