Designed by Josua Roters in 2023, Measure Light is a wall light that combines the functionality of a tape measure with the illumination of a strip light. The lamp is made from blank elasticated sheet metal of a tape measure. The back of the concave surface is provided with a strip of light that extends along its entire length. Attached to the wall with a transparent bracket, this luminaire emits a bright and graphic band of light that gives off an enchanting glow, adding depth to the surrounding space.
The unique functionality of the wall light allows the user to gently move the strip up and down, transforming the light from a bright thin strip to an indirect open light source. This simple movement allows the customer to switch between two different lighting moods.
