Designed by Ingo Maurer in 2014, Monument for a Bulb is a table lamp depicting eight tiny figures standing around a bulb. The bulb appears like a monument in a town square and is propped up horizontally on fine brass rods. The figures are made of nickel silver and are positioned by the user.
I Ricchi Poveri, Monument for a bulb, was adapted in 2022 with the new Ambient lamp by Ingo Maurer: Ambient was exclusively developed to offer an alternative to the halogen lamp with all the benefits from LED. Just like a halogen bulb, Ambient gets warmer in colour temperature as it dims.
