Designed by Axel Shmid in 2005, 24 Karat Blau T provides wonderfully warm diffused light. The shades are individually handcrafted in Japan, using a unique process, where the wafer-thin gold leaf is cast into acrylic sheets. The gold leaf is beaten 1/10,000 mm thin so that short-wave blue light can shine through between the molecules, while yellow-gold light is reflected. Each panel has four holes with which they can be suspended from the rod cross at different angles.
